NBN - Week of Nov. 3

Hello Band Families!

PNMB UPDATES

Congratulations, PNMB members, on a JOB WELL DONE at the MCBA State Championships! The improvement and growth you demonstrated throughout the season were incredible, and we are so proud! It truly takes a village to make a marching band happen, from the amazing chaperones, volunteers, prop builders, bus drivers, trailer drivers, designers, and instructors, the list could honestly go on.

Some folks may feel disappointed in the result, and I can understand. It is challenging when we put objective measures on a subjective art form. Please know that the students had their BEST run on Saturday, and the feeling of watching those students smile, high five, hug, and acknowledge that they had their best run, was remarkable to watch, and NOTHING, no result, no judges, no number, can EVER take away from that feeling. In 5 years, 10 years, you won’t remember the result, but just how you felt, and the fantastic people you were around!

Thank you all for a fantastic year. I am already so excited for the next one! Thank you to the class of 2026 for a great show. Your leadership and legacy will be one for the books!

We will wrap up the marching band season at our PNMB Banquet on Wednesday, November 19th, at 7 pm in the NHS Auditorium!
